How do I register?
Our system enables you to pick your team before having to register your personal details.
How do I pick a team?
Select your players and team name. When you are satisfied with your team, click 'Confirm This Team'.
NB. Make sure your team name does not contain special characters (i.e. ") as this can cause problems.
I'm through to the registration page - what now?
You now have two options:
For those who have already registered to Old Wimbledonians Fantasy Cricket: you must now enter your email address and password to skip the registration process.
For those who are completely new to Old Wimbledonians Fantasy Cricket: click on the Register Now button. From here, fill in all the necessary information (DOB, address etc) and follow the on-screen instructions to register your team and account.
I'm registered now - how do I log-in at a future date?
To log-in return to the homepage and enter your email address (the one you enetered during the registration process) and the password you chose - then click LOGIN.
How do I make transfers?
When you are logged-in and viewing your team line-up, choose 'Transfers' from the 'My Team' section of the menu.
Select the player you wish to remove from your team by clicking on his name/shirt - then select a replacement from the list on the left. Make sure your revised team rating does not exceed £7,000,000. When you are finished making changes to your team, click SUBMIT.
The resulting pop-up will tell you how many transfers you are about to make and when those transfers will become active.
All changes must be made before 11.00am every Saturday (UK time) in order to score points for that weekend. Players transferred after the this deadline will score points from the following weekend.
NB. Regardless of the message in the pop-up, if you wait before clicking OK and inadvertently miss the transfer deadline, your change will not take affect until the following day. Our server clock measures your transfer from the moment you click OK.
How many transfers can I make during the competition?
You can make up to 20 transfers and 10 captain changes during the season.
Before the season starts, there will be a transfer amnesty in place. This means you can make unlimited transfers up until the first deadline of the season (11.00am on 19th June 2010). These transfers will not be deducted from your seasonal allowance of 20.
How do I join a Mini League?
If you wish to join an existing league, you'll just need the Mini League name and password from the chairman that created the league. Click on 'Join/create League' and follow the on-screen instructions.
How do I set up a Mini League?
The person setting up the Mini League will be the Chairman of that league. As Chairman, you must first register your own team and then:
Take extra care to note down and save the precise log-in details for your Mini League
How many Mini Leagues can I join?
You can join a maximum of three different Mini Leagues.
I have entered the League name and password that my friend/colleague gave me, but they're not working
Make sure you are entering the exact League name and password given to you by the chairman. League name and password input is 'case sensitive' so make sure you don't have Caps Lock on.
None of my friends are getting the 'Invite a Friend' invitations
NB. If you or your friends use Blueyonder, Hotmail, AOL, BTInternet, Ntlworld or Tiscali as your email provider, there is a chance that the 'Invite a Friend' email may get caught in spam and/or junk filters. The best way to avoid this is to manually email your friends the necessary league details.
